It's nice. Makes me miss my 87 W150 4x4 Short Bed 318. Always liked the classic lines of the 70s and 80s Dodge Trucks.

Try pumping the accelerator 4-5 times b4 cranking & make sure the choke is setting to get around the start fluid. Nice truck

Yes the power wagon emblems came on the adventure. I had a W-200 camper addition, 1978. The dodge ram charger, or the Plymouth trail duster. Didn't come with those emblems

Pretty cool rig...I have one similar to this...mine is a 75 baby blue short bed reg cab with 3/4 ton axles under it...dana 44 up front and dana 60 back with 410 gears(soon to be changed out to a higher more highway friendly ratio tho...wayyy too low geared now lol) but has 440 under hood...with 4speed manual with hub front end also did the part time upgrade in the T-case...very very fun gas guzzlin truck lol ...love these old rigs:)

The "Blazer style" is the Ramcharger. Power Wagon was a long standing name for Dodge 4x4 trucks. ID from the factory. A knowledgable car guy should know this

that truck is perfect. the only thing i would change, is get rid of the life is a beach sticker. i would be good to go till the day that i died. mine has the bench seat , witch i hate. and i love the sun roof. you have yourself a very nice truck. every scratch and ding makes it a one of a kind., enjoy it.

I bought a silver 77' W100 440 in 1994 for 1200. It had a cracked block but was complete. Over the next two years I installed a 70' 440 HP 1993 np203 married case, dana 60 front and rear from a 93' Caltrans truck and Sno-Fiter springs. I tried to install HP exhaust but nobody could make a pipe to reach the flange so I put the stock truck manifolds back on. The truck was one of a kind and I had about 10K into it. In 1996, I listed the truck for sale for 4500 and got lots of calls from people who loved to talk but had no funds. Three weeks later I sold the truck for 1300. Now I have a 76' Highboy Ford that has a much larger following and is way easier to get parts for. Not sure what the ol W100 would fetch these days but I am certain that a lot of people without funds would still be interested in talking for hours about it. Live and learn I always tell my sons they don't make the same mistakes I did with vehicles as a young man.

You can wish, hope, and pray that it's just the windshield that leaks, but such is rarely the case with these 72-79 D/W series Dodge trucks. Unfortunately, most people never bother to take the time to remove the wiper arms and valance to properly clean out all the organic matter that constantly builds up and decomposes down in the cowl area. And it creates an "out of sight" acidic sponge like mess that holds water and eventually leads to rust perforation. The rust damage can only be properly accessed by removing the wiper arms, the valance, the outer fender(s), and cutting/removing the top of the cowl over the affected area. Even then it's still an awkward and somewhat difficult area to patch weld, not to mention reattaching the upper portion of the cowl you had to cut and remove. PS: The perforation usually first occurs just above the parking brake mechanism in the drivers footwell or the similar outboard location above the passengers footwell, depending on the angle in which the vehicle was regularly parked.

"Power Wagon" was the 4wheel drive pickups(W100-200-300...100 was half ton...200 3/4ton and 300 was the 1ton...D100-200-300's was the 2wd version of pickups) the D100-200-300s never came factory with the powerwagon emblems on hood since as already stated...the power wagon was the 4wd models and these models did come factory with the hood emblems that said power wagon..."the blazer" verison dodge made was called Ramcharger and from factory they no mater 4wd or 2wd the Ramchargers never came factory with the power wagon hood emblems.
