I always wanted to this to my budgie, but had no success. They all were tame but did not touch themselves for long period. I would love to preen them, cuddle and played with them. They just had breakfast with me, sat on my shoulder and poo everywhere. One could "speak".

Your green cheek conure is one of the most beautiful ones that I've seen! What a sweet natured little bird! Thank you very much for this great video. Most videos about preening are too short to actually see anything. They're also filmed so far away from the bird that it's impossible to see what the person is talking about. Your video shows preening up so close to Haru that I felt like I might touch him. Another great point of this video that others lack is you show viewers all about preening without needing to say a word! Amazing! This is SO VERY tender!!!! :-) I love this sweet little baby and watching you gently find all of his little pinnies to help release the feathers. Look at her pink feet! I want to nibble her long, elegant toes and each one of her individual toe pads! Look at those plump little toe pads! WAY TOO SWEET! How long have you had her? How old is she? Is she your only bird? Is she a Green Cheek Conure? Thanks for this awesome preening session. I usually avoid watching videos this long but this one went by so fast and was really beautiful. :-)
