Oh wow I'm not even 5 minutes in and see another shape fixing idea! I'm still a bit plus size but for 35 years now dealing with big mom tummy having giant babies! Except despite that I have a small waist still. I usually just by Jennings or Walmart sells really stretch jeans then I make waist darts! I buy tons of jeans or given them because I make jean bags! I will try the barrel look! Can always be s bag! Ok watching rest if video! Edit...I love them! I like the skinny ankle! I've not embraced the extra wide leg style...again because I'm shirt and its all in my legs! Flare and bell is OK. So trying this! I have to go see your blog!

I have been seeing these type of jeans around from the high-end influencers and never consider that anyone that not rolling in the green dough could obtain the jean. These came out great and you right not too much styling needed for this jean style. This was a great flip and the perfect start off project for being in the new place. I can tell that your spirit is freeing from what you had to go through at the previous location. My dream summer dress is a cargo midi length shirt dress in light weight denim or linen or cotton. Not me accidentally doing this upcycle for years because I always have to add a side panel to make the waist and hips both fit but I also suck at cutting straight lines 😂😂 I always liked the effect so I didn’t go back and fix it- now I’m fashion 😁

I made these last month with a pair of lucky jeans, they did fit so I actually added room to the waist band. This brand of jeans doesn’t have the flat felled seams so it was easy to add the darts as well.

I did the exact opposite to this video. I bought a really cheap pair of barrel jeans in a sale last year and converted them into normal jeans. I would inever have worn a barrel shape myself. It seemed to be in style for around 3 months in the uk last year.

Yes of course 👍🏾 The flat fell seam would need to be taken out with a seam ripper because just pinching and sewing would create a seam way too thick to sew through.
