Thank you for being here. I have been wanting to learn to sew for a long time now, and, and someone gave me a used Singer Sewing Machine. I don’t even know how to thread it or thread a bobbin. You give very detailed instructions and explanations. Thank you so much. I’ll be saving your videos in a folder. Again, thank you! Donna Coastal Georgia

Couldn't you have sewed the seam all the way around (on all four sides). Then use the button and button holes to open and put the pillow in?

I was thinking the exact same thing. The button placket can be the opening to put the pillow in.

She just happened to use a button up shirt as the fabric but if you’re using regular fabric you would want to know this method.

Thank you so much Angelina! I noticed that your sewing machine have the seam allowance's marks and normally every mark includes a mark for the square seam, it's a little horizontal mark in every one, and it's in different highs accordingly to every width, so when the fabric gets to that point you stop and make the process of turning the fabric, and if you past the mark I recommend to give how many back stitches needed so you don't have the unfortunately luck to get loose stitches and get the seam undone or open. I hope these tips can help you. And I'm sorry for any grammar mistake, English it's not my first language 😊

How many pages is your book? I know how to sew but am thinking about getting it anyway. I have only done some up-cycling since before that was a thing. I recently found a skirt I made from jeans and navy bandanna fabric. The fabric was a remnant so I used all I had and it is a tiny bit shorter than Iike. So I’ve never warn it. I want to add to it a little more and so I will wear it.
