I just point my phone, it's not anything fancy, and start playing and singing. So, a comment like yours gives me hope that people still like things natural and real. Thank you so very much! I've loved this song since I first heard it, but probably about 14 or 15 years ago, when my wife was fighting her cancer, reality there was really little hope, and the song took on a personal meaning. I've loved this song since I first heard it in the 70's, but I could never figure it out. When my wife was fighting her cancer, one day it all came together, and the words were personal for me. I know that it was about a couple falling apart, but to me it was about loosing my better half. In Rita's last years, if we weren't talking about everything, I was playing her love songs, but this one, I couldn't play for her, I never wanted her to feel worse for me, it was all about her for me. For her, it was all about everyone else, the kids, her students, her family and me. Take care of your wife, give her a special hug for me, because you can. Peace, love and a little music,
