I have been listening to you guys since the beginning. Had a chance meeting with Jim at the Marriott hotel in Calgary and as I walked by him and turned around realized it was him and said to him "mister Cuddy", he turned to meet me and offered to take a selfie with me even though I couldn't figure out how to do that with my ancient flip phone. Great video, excellent recording. I first saw Blue Rodeo in Toronto back around 1986. I'd never heard them before so I thought I'd check out their show. It was outdoors somewhere on a nice sunny day. They sounded great, and I became a fan. That was about 35 years ago and I'm still a fan. To survive in Canada as a band for such a long time is a very difficult thing to do. Not only that, to remain creative and popular, and still true to their original vision and sound. The only difference between the first time I saw them and now---- they're all old guys now! Long live Blue Rodeo!

Now my longtime friend Kim DesChamps played on the Five Days in July sessions (he also played on Cowboy Junkies original Trinity Sessions) departed from Blue Rodeo over a dispute about whiich I have never heard the band's side of the story -- and I cannot stop listening to both recordings -- may Kim be remembered for his work on dobro and pedal steel -- forever!!!

And everytime I hear Lost Together I recall standing next to Jim at US customs at the peace bridge around the time of the album release. I believe you were headed to the friendship festival. Talk about a 'Slow Burning Fire' with this band ... Over the years I've gone from "meh, take it, or leave it" (probably more on the leave its side), to "I can't wait to see them tonight" at the NAC in Ottawa... There were lot of little turning points along the way, but this performance really pushed me over the edge. After watching it, I told my self I'd finally go see them live the next chance I got.
