Shaggy’s rhythm is impeccable. Sting’s voice and groove on that bass are butter. Dominic’s playing is perfectly in pocket and his dynamics are unbelievable. The backup singers are a beautiful base for everything else and contribute so much without overtaking anything. The mixing is perfect and the recording engineer is a genius. This is the perfect storm!

Wicked vibes. Was always a fan of Sting and the Police. Shaggy from his 90s hits. Brits and Jamaicans can surely appreciate this with Shaggy putting his spin on it. Big up ! 🇬🇧🇯🇲👍

Sting and Shaggy, what can be better!? A GREAT collaboration. I love Sting with the Police, and Shaggy . At 65 years old I am still living it.❤ YEAH

Sting is one of those artists that when he sings, you stop what you're doing and watch. Never been a Shaggy fan, but this was mesmerizing. Caught myself completely forgetting what I was doing before seeing this.

Couple of things. First off, I've always loved Sting's entire catalog, so no surprises on the greatness here. Secondly, that guitar player was low key great. He played so cleanly, with such touch, and made it look easy. I will say the biggest surprise was my newfound respect for Shaggy. The rhythm of his phrasing was so good and crisp. I also realized the man has a nice timbre to his voice and can do some decent singing. This whole collaboration is such a breath of fresh air. Kudos.

Nah. He's promoting. Sting is notorious for wanting large proportions of samples. When BIG died he took most of missing you even though the proceeds were meant to get to his kids.
@primejudicator78173 жыл бұрын
Sting and the Police have been sampled many times. And he's performed on some of those sampled tracks in live concert. It only increases his legend as each new generation learns about the man that has been rocking the world for over 40 years.

The way Sting says "Suspe-C-T" and "Respe-C-T" in Shape of my Heart is beautiful. Like a closed hi-hat to punctuate the end of the phrase. So subtle, yet so deliberate every time I've heard him sing it.
