Jedes man freue ich mich wenn KZbin mir dieses Video vorschlägt. Jedes Mal nimmt es mich mit, so klasse. Leider hört man von BBR schon lange nichts mehr.

@densondirosa44975 жыл бұрын
I’ve Loved building & sorta kinda playing Diddley bows for a few years now. You can do a helluva lot with one string. An instrument that any non player can learn to play. A great talent. Wish he could come play the Highland Jazz & blues Festival in Shreveport Louisiana. Would love to show him some stuff I learned about building & playing these roots Jazz & Blue originating instruments. God gave this hobby, vocation, dare I say MINISTRY to me, & I want him to be proud of how I used it to honor him & showcase what he does for people who love him.

Still one of the best diddley bow videos out there. That’s one nasty looking instrument - goes to show it doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated to get good music out of it!

At first when I saw his Diddley Bow, I thought it would be some dirty country song, but then he strum with that distortion, and made the most dirt rhythm ever. So dope :) This is why I'm subbed :D

I was totally grooving out to his playing when I suddenly noticed at 1:12 that he is a dead ringer for a young Steve Martin from many angles! The squinting thing he does (and most of his "intense" faces) is super similar to when Steve Martin is hamming it up, though ironically Steve is much more serious when actually playing banjo. The biggest streak of Steveness is from 6:31 to 6:55. He is super awesome and makes me want to grab my own bass didley bow from the closet!

Why not? All you need is a stick, a piece of wire and a few nails. Not a lot of risk to try it. If you have fun, you’ll make a few more!
