Blues, Bossa, and Heel Toe | How I'm Learning Drumset 2

Blues:
rim shots, heel up unaccented, tip of stick on ride, application 1 (left foot on down beats), grooves 421-430, simple fill to begin.
Bossa:
rim clicks, heel down, tip of stick on ride, bossa + son + rumba clave, left foot on ands.
Heel Toe:
bar of heel check, bar of heel toe (1e, also called scottish snap, also the ariana grande rhythm), bar of heel toe filled with high tom. upgrade by adding snare on 3.
lol big sigh at the end of the heel toe. it can be frustrating learning something new. it is in these times that we find patience with ourselves. lots more work to be done. glad i practiced today. hope you enjoy.

Hey Nic. Cool to see you learning drumset. I have one main critique. As far as your right hand goes, try using more wrist. It's easier to get a more consitent sound with the larger muscle groups, but you dont want to use any muscles larger than your write generally, just like with Steven's grip where you want to use your wrist, not the thumb and not the shoulder for a double vertical stroke.
