Love your instructional videos. I got the "Making a 12-string guitar" book from Stewy and I've found lots of dimensional errors. I'm making the bridge and think I've found another error. You wouldn't happen have a dimensioned drawing of a 12-string bride for a dreadnaught (25.4 scale) you would share? I heard you in the video mention outside hole spacing of 2-3/16", and I could probably get what I need from that, but a drawing sure would be nice. This is my first and I'd hate to screw it up just because of a drawing. by the way, love the Wayne Henderson shirt. He's a great guy and I love his festival every Father's Day weekend.

Fit the nut in the slot tight and there's no need for glue... No time wasted on it drying..... Keep on working.... Get it done.

For your initial slot cuts on the nut, which file do you use?

each string uses a different file. You need a good set of nut files. You want to use a file that is at least the same size of the string or a few thousandths larger say a 24 string would use a 26 file so you just work your strings and octaves are the size requires

@@johnhall2795 yes, I know there is a different size file to finish the slot based on the string diameter. Some luthiers use a file or thin kerf saw for the initial cut on all strings for a starting point and then use multiple sizes to finish up. I couldn't tell from the video if that was the method being used. Great video though....keep them coming!!!!!

@@alandust2188 just use the file I may use a 24 file to set the centers on the larger strings to hold spacing the more you do it the more comfortable you will get . Never be afraid to ask questions I like to share what I learned
