As a young Man who is now a retired Mortician and no longer living in Los Angeles California where I traveled to work every day which took me 2.5 hours each way in bumper-to-bumper traffic so, to not stress out, I took up the Harmonica and focused on blues. Well, my graduation as a blues player came 4 years later on a very hot day sitting in my car with the Engen shut off playing my heart out in a business suit right next to four good looking Black girls that I had not noticed who had pulled up beside me, they stopped talking and just sat and listened to me play their kind of blues music and when I had finished they started screaming and clapping their hands and praising me for doing such a good job. i needed that.

Bend on the 4 hole draw, o and also im guessing you have a c harmoncia if you do just solo a blue over a backing track in g. theres a really good one and the picture is a guy with heart sunglasses and a guitar. you could also make your own variations of licks you know

Nothings more fun than playing the blues harp with a buddy. I dabbled with the blues harp in high school, in the 70s,.....got good enough to entertain my friends at parties. I continued to play in college, and even sat in with some classmates who performed at a local tavern, performing "cover" tunes in front of audience at an open stage event. I collected & listened to a lot blues harp records, and played along learning the techniques. I had harps in almost every key. I had Blues harps & some marine band, styled ones, too. I took my inspiration from the old timer's, many who had died before I was born. Like, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, & Big Walter Horton. I saw Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee perform at my college,...in 1971,....I sat less than 6 feet away, in cozy off-campus bar, and I soaked up all their soulfulness. Bravo, young blood!

peter piper funny your name is even piper.... I hunt tunnels in my town, there's a lot of storm drains, some in the middle of nowhere that have really good resonance, perfect for harpin in. I'll ride my bike or moped, use a bucket or crate to sit on, and spend hours trying to get better. Plus it's super hot here in the desert, the tunnels are always good weather.

Living with schizo- effective tendencies, mostly bi polar though has been a battle ever since adult hood for me and it has been a lonely road at times. Ever since I started listening to harmonica music (and other music again) and by chance I started drawing with colour pencils and writing my first novel, my life has turned around. I now cycle 3-4 days a week, work two jobs which I both love, i laugh EVERY DAY. Life is truly a blessing but it has to be earned everyday or it becomes meaning less and for me it became over-rated I hate to say. I'm not a religious man but i am a man of faith and I want to say Thank you to the heavens above for showing me who I am and for telling me that I have to rise above and let go of those who wish to keep me caged, life is too short to be character assassinated by those who "love you" THANK YOU!

I love this jam session... As an inside joke between me and my wife, whenever I'm finishing up a home improvement project, she always knows I'm almost done when she hears this tune...
