Fantastic! Mine sits safely at a loft across town now. It has been re-tubed (17 tubes altogether), but I haven't played it in some time. I keep it oiled and all, but I am not in a band right now, and I got bit by the synth bug about three years ago. I can carry those around fairly easily, but nothing sounds like the Hammond. I scored a port-a-B (my second), but I play it through an original 147 cabinet.

wow, thanks for the complete description. Well, yes it's a blues progression with blues chords and scale. But it is not a written song or anything, just had fun. I practice a lot, and I play lots of blues in different keys. I think thats the base for Hammond jazz...

Thx. It's a Dynacord DC100 but all speakers are changed, crossover is tweaked to cut at 800hz.

It is originally a B2 that has it's wooden case rebuilt, and the amp upgraded to B3 specs (A0-28 + percussion switches)

@theremixphilly sorry for posting (replying) two comments, i thought the first one was not posted... i think you'll know that ;-) by the way: there are leslies you can set on "stop", "chorale" and "tremolo", some that are made for "chorale (slow)" and "tremolo (fast)" and there are leslies where you can just switch between "on (tremolo)" or "off (stop)"

@theremixphilly its a leslie speaker, an important part of THE Hammond sound. there are two speakers, one for the low freqency and one for high. the high frequency driver is under the horn you see spinning and the bass speaker is over a rotating drum. for more infos google "leslie speaker" or visit captain-foldback(dot)com and go to "leslie"
