I guess I'm not talented enough to learn these techniques just by watching KZbin videos. I wish I could find an organ teacher here in New York City who teaches that staccato/percussive/slap technique and exercises that would allow me to learn it.

Outstanding, I once owned a B3 with Leslie 122 Speaker, bought it for $2800. Had to sell because I was in the US Army and was moving to Germany back in 1986,,,it went to a good home (a Christian Church in Temple Texas. Dustoff85 great playing my friend
