When was a kid, I heard this music on the radio and I loved it - immediately.. it wasn’t until later that I learned that this music was called ‘the Blues’. I listen to many different styles of music - but - if I were told I could listen to only one genre of music, hands-down, Blues would be my choice. When you consider the broad spectrum of styles within that genre, I would never regret my decision. Of the ‘Kings’, it’s always been Albert who resonates the most for me. Thanks Jack! Love Your Touch and Your Content! Play On, Brother!

I love BB King when it comes to the blues. Listening to BB so much when I started out with guitar helped me with my vibrato and bending. I think more guitarists should pay more attention to BB in my opinion. It’s the feeling and voice he had in his playing. I was lucky enough to see BB King when I was in my early 20s his playing live was amazing with his band on point. What a show! At the end of the show I met him and shook his hand and said I really enjoyed it. The man is a gentleman and to my surprise I was taller than him?? He’s so big on stage but I was surprised that he wasn’t tall at all. That tells you how good someone is that can command the stage. I actually love all the Kings to be honest and that kid Marcus King is really good too. I really like your style Jack it makes me want to pick up my Gibson ES-345 even more, but that’s easy they are great guitars right?

I love how you used the organ for the vocal parts (are you too shy to sing to us, Jack? Ha ha. 🤣). It helped me hear a bit clearer how the call and response sit in the pocket. I think I can get a bit distracted by the lyrics etc. Good lesson, Jack. I do enjoy your artist style analysis and comparisons.

Totally awesome dude, this is very very much playing the blues as you can get when learning the blues and growing up where you are the blues. For example BB king he is the blues and he is giving you and me himself through his instrument of choice as we all know which is Lucille his famous guitar that he was completely married to fo dam near his whole life. Now alot of people who study him can learn how to play the blues which is him BB King. That my definition of the blues...

I watch all your videos but this somehow really grabbed my attention I think I need to get some of those albums like you said. I'm just getting to that point where I can replicate many things I hear ( probably more like see and hear on some stuff that's why I watch all your videos) Thanks Jack I really mean that.

The way Albert plays bends, he turns 5 notes into about 50. It’s almost unTABable.

even tough you are right about listening to blues master, I think it’s time to reinvent the blues, not a easy task , but we need some fresh tones and riffs

That's right. I'm using 09s with tall frets, it’s a lot easier to control the bends. I used to use 10s and my bending was awful.
