I haven't watched league in 10 years but was formerly heavily into it. So discounting like 2015 forward. Nothing before 2015 has come close to all 3 games of the 91 series. That was incredible and I'm a New South Welshman.

What a great game. Mitchell Moses sealed his position as the number one pick for NSW halfback this series. Cleary does not deserve to be picked over him. The last time NSW won a series decider in Suncorp was in 05 when Joey Johns returned in Game 2. Both dominated under similar circumstances: returned in Game 2 and got man of the match, and a stellar kicking game that won NSW Game 3. Spectacular to watch.

Cleary will be back next season for SOO. NSW won the series in 2021 with Cleary as the top scorer. If Cleary had been playing last night, the half time score would have easily been 20-2, with full time at NSW 40-2.

Cleary is the best half in NSW, he has won several Origin series and three GFs. He was set up to fail last year by Fittler picking soft forwards and letting a past-his-best Tedesco constantly break up the play. Maguire has shown Fittler how a forward pack should operate, and also put Edwards in to replace Tedesco and let the halves run the show. Even Nicho would have looked good in Melbourne.

The first half of the game was a cop out hardly any score until half time when Queensland scored the first points. I went to bed it could've been a better game. I think the NRL should consider moving State of origin games to a Saturday night. A lot of people don't work on Sunday and there's no school on Sunday and it would attract a bigger crowd and TV audience. And please note that I'm not being a sour puss but what I'm saying is factual. Congratulations NSW.

I guess it is not good to be overconfident and say that it will come back to qld next year. Just leave it for next year and accept the lost that's what sport is all about. NSW was better team and they deserve that win.
