Idk if people have done or thought of these before, but here are some run ideas I have: Genocide%: -Get hunter’s mark -Kill cloth -Kill nail master -Let zote die -Get “Witness” achievement -Kill Myla -Do “Sealed Sibling” ending -Kill Mellibelle Rando%: -Any% on item randomizer -The settings for the randomizer can be decided by the community -You will get 10 minutes before the real speedrun to plan your route with the knowledge of where every item is (if it’s possible to do so) Zote%: -Defeat Grey Prince Zote while following all precepts

yknow... this has me thinking. i've just recently gotten into hollow knight and i love it to death and ive become fascinated by the speedrun strategies. i also really love trying to solve weird puzzles that aren't intended meant to be puzzles and figure things out, but obviously the normal runs have been endlessly worked on and analysed for years now... so what if i come up with my own bizarre 'meme category' with 0 other contenders and see if i can puzzle my way into finding the fastest strategies i can, with all my limited knowledge and lackluster gaming ability... that could be _fun_

Focus is not a spell, because it isn't affected by spell charms. If Focus was a spell, it would be affected by Spell Twister, but it isn't. Simply as that. Just because it uses soul, doesn't make it spell automatically. Spell is a thing that shamans in Hollow Knight used. Focus is innate ability of Knight, so it's not a spell. No matter how we look at it, Focus is not a spell. So if anyone tells you Focus is a spell, just tell them that!
