To me, the moment the Mother said that the Daughter is not a part of her family she should ask "Are you sure I'm not part of your family?" If the Mother says something like "Yes." then the Daughter says "Goodbye" and takes immediately action to cut the entire Family off. This includes changing the locks, blocking phone numbers, and replacing credit cards. To explain her actions, she puts a post on Social Media to explain to the entire family of why she took this action, and to no longer contact her because as far as the Daughter is concerned she no longer has a family. She also takes action to recover the money illegally spent on her credit cards, taking what ever legal action is necessary. Once that is done, she changes her name and moves away.

1. pretending she doesn't exits 2. excluding her from family pictures 3. telling her she can't come to the wedding because they lied and said he was an only child 4. then tells her that as a FAMILY member who is not coming, she should pay $10k as a gift... oh and she needs to collect it in a few weeks. emergency house move time

I agree. The moment you discover that your credit/debit card is missing you should stop it immediately. Don't wait to ask someone about it, just do it immediately. From what I understand, if you immediately report the card missing you won't be responsible for any further charges by the thief. In turn, the Credit Card Company will act to deal with the thief.

@@jenevans7664 A rule of thumb I follow when it comes to yen is that 100 yen equals $1.00. It's not exact but I use it to estimate. In that case, it must be dollars because 10,000 yen works up to approximately $100 which to me doesn't sound unreasonable...until the Mother told her that she was not invited and she was not family.

To me, the thing is if he is changing jobs on a regular basis how is he supposed to get above a job's bottom rung? You have a job and then quit, and then start at another job where you are on the bottom rung again. It seems like he expects the job to cater to him, rather than just doing the job even if it is sometimes unpleasant. It seems like if he doesn't like something at a job he just takes his ball and goes home.

What a toxic mother demanding $10,000 as a wedding gift that is just absurd. And then you steal your daughters credit card and use it to buy branded items. You really are a toxic witch to your daughter. Replace the W. with a B. You are much better off without them. She goes into your wallet and steals the card again to spend in Tahiti just incredible and I’m glad she wound up with a fake card just what she deserves.

Seems like alot of these originate in Japan and I've seen monetary switches. There is alot of inconsistency in these type stories, I personally find the errors annoying. I don't tend to think they actually proof read or practice before they record, nor do I think they listen and make needed corrections after...just my opinion though.

She is not a member of the family in the mother's eyes and is not invited to the brother's wedding, was cut out of family pictures. But family should give $10,000 for a wedding gift she isn't even invited to. Don't even contact me anymore. Then they steal her credit card. Send them the bill.

An arranged marriage. Wonderful. Since when does a city council member in the family make you nobility? $10,000? Nope, not going to happen! Just cancel the credit card and report it as stolen. Let the card company/bank deal with the fraudulent credit card charges. Use your own money mom! Let’s settle for zero dollars.

I think of it as more like a toy credit card rather than a fake credit card. The difference is that a toy credit card is just that, a toy and it is not supposed to be used and if you look at it is clear that it is not a real card. A fake credit card is designed to be real and is intended to be used for fraud. It is just like real money vs. Monopoly Money. One is real and the other is a toy for use in a game.
