This is so cool! I found a first gen shuffle at a thrift store for a few dollars. The battery is flat and doesn’t hold a charge. If I need to open it up to replace the battery I might as well and go all out and try this Bluetooth mod. I assume this Bluetooth board is just a standard receiver? Will it work with AirPods?

I think it's possible because the BT transmitter can fit inside. It's so tiny and is a tight fit. But haven't tried it myself. I'd love to see him do it tho.
