I have a Go Cube, a Gan 356i v2 and a Gan 356i Carry. The i Carry is awesome, I was happy I got it even though I already had basically the same cube. The idea of a replaceable battery just beats everything else. Personally, I'd choose the i Carry over Monster Go because I prefer the weakest tensions and springs - and the Monster Go only has one sets of springs and the tightest nuts.

At 17:02 what do you mean by "it doesn't recognize roux well" ? Why the method used matter?

I have the gan i3 and i actually like it more than the i carry. It feels smoother and feels like there's less friction and it's way more fun to do long sessions with it. And also my i carry decided to not work properly after about 3 months. It began to stop registering my moves or just turn wrong sides when I turned fast. So basically every solve i would just end up with a non solved cube on screen. I wrote an email to them asking for a replacement but instead I got a 12 dollar coupon code.

Just received a MoYu Weilong AI today (App version 1.6.3 and Firmware 2.4.1). The app is English on my Samsung Note 10+ (Android). Setup required activating the battery (Switch to D position for 10 sec) and then required a full charge before use. Came with an extra display case, tension tool, spare centers and a MoYu logo to apply your cube. A very light magnetic AI cube with tension adjustable centers. I will probably keep it covered on the base when not in use. The Monster GO also has my attention.

Nice review. I'm sorry if the battery goes bad in a product you should never ever have to throw out that product, battery replacements should always be available. I have the Rubik's version, I left it in my draw for 6 months, picked it up and it still worked, had about 40% charge. It's been there for what must be over a year now, I bet it needs a charge. I had the GAN 356i v1, it wouldn't last a week sitting in the draw. Not an issue with the battery size but an issue with standby drain. The v2 would last in a draw for a couple months not sure the exact time but not as long the Rubik's GoCube. I also found the v1 during use I'd worry about it running out all the time, the v2 I didn't have to worry and it was my prefered cube. I never got the iCarry I didn't see the need but I liked the concept. If the batteries have degraded from any device, I'd open them up and try to replace them. Sometimes I've upgraded to a newer device and don't need to. However if this process is too difficult then I'll stop buying from that company until a better product with replacible batteries is designed. In this day and age having been burnt from mobile phones and the whole reduce, reuse, recycle; not having replacible batteries is just unacceptable. Thanks for pointing out the issues to look out for. Edit: Wow that iCarry battery really does hold up well. That being said I've had no issues charging the 356i either version, but they do require a delicate touch and maybe some electronics know how. I can see many people running into issues with it because their instinct is to push it down until you feel a solid connection, when it really needs a very light touch. The fake indicator light is terrible though, unacceptable really and makes me wonder if they have a charging management system.

@@SpeedCubeReview it may not work afterwards but it would definitely make a cool video. Who knows if it's easy to find an ebay battery for it, the video might also be very helpful. I don't know if you can fix the Giker I think it needs more than just a battery but I'm at least one person that would love to see the insides of all these cubes. I've fixed smartwatches multiple times with battery replacements, I suspect a cube will be much easier.

Looking through your other videos now I see you've done a video on it, but maybe it'd be a good idea to mention that with an annotation or something on this one. I had the Moyu but a bluetooth cube that you can't use with an app is just a heavy 60$ "normal" cube... So I sent it back. I like the go cube app, I like to compete against people but the ranking system is bad. I am just under 30s so, i am a god in the "under 60 sec" and really bad in the "under 30 sec". :( I have some difficulties to spot the pieces on that cube, I think it is because of the thick line in the middle of the pieces. I wish we couldn't win inspection time with a faster scramble than your opponent and I wish the time didn't stop when you lose. I am not sure I will give another try to connected cube. Maybe if we had a good app suitable with all the e-cube...

Of they are beginning, I would say GoCube. It looks cool, and the app is the best. It can come apart as the tensions are a bit loose, so just know a piece may pop out or corner twist, but it's a super easy fix that isn't a big issue.
