In my highschool we actually made speakers in our design and technology class, they came out rough but it was really cool though!

I do this with home audio center channels I get from Goodwill. I have an Altec Lancing at work and a Klipsch in my home garage. Add a bathroom safety handle to the top and it's portable and louder and better quality than anything else on the market.

have you had good luck with the battery pack when charging? I had the 5 pack 26650 batteries to get 21 volts and every time the charging board from parts express would charge the batteries there was a chip that would have a meltdown in less than 30 seconds. that was 2 years ago.

@Jan Hendrik Franke it's just normal amplifier board with amplifier IC & blutooth embedded, DSP chips are expensive and most normal Chinese or others amplifier board making brands doesn't add on such boards and The DSP I'm talking about is researched and developed fto achieve best audio quality possible by above Audio device making companies which i mentioned on my first comment specifically for their particular models of audio products which is measured and synchronized with their respective hardware such as Speaker/subwoofer drivers, size of enclosure, Passive radiators etc.

​@@same4047 dsp are not expensive ,in fact you can get a board for less than 10€ for an ado1701 dsp. Also just a quick reminder, almost all their R&D goes into trying to cut costs rather than giving you the best . For exemple the jbl boombox 3 cost 549€ . And if you had to build something that sounds the same and has the same functionalities it would cost 350€ only by ordering parts online ,now with things like pcb ways you can make your own boards and basically cut the price down even more altough not everyone has time to do this !

For a bigger amplifier you could always just run a small bluetooth board that sends a signal to any amp. My next build video coming out in a few weeks will cover how to do that

You need a Good Sound Box to Match Thier Quality, otherwise some Cheap decent Chinese Drivers and Driver Board is More then enough
