ABSOLUTELY no excuse for a truck that costs $43k to not have powered seats and 4 wheel drive
@TheMikeshannon
@TheMikeshannon 4 күн бұрын
The 4wd is 44k. It's right on par with everything that's remotely similar, seeing as how the bronco is the only "competition" and is still significantly different. If you want it to come down in price go fire up Nissan and have them build the xterra for cheaper. Because that's about it, and its been discontinued for 10 years.

@@TheMikeshannon Honestly, powered driver & passenger seats should be base model normal nowadays. Just like power windows. I also think the JBL sound system should be base model normal. The only thing that should come with higher trims are 4wheel drive/suspension, giant info-tainment screen, and leather seats & all the heated seats, steering wheel bells & whistles.

@@joshlamar1990 why would that be? As with any new model there may be a brief time that interest outweighs supply but after production ramps up over a month or two should be no different to the prior gen right? And going by many comments, if the new vehicle is inferior to the old one there may not even be any ADM right?

I bought a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander late last year. I was the 2nd owner. It too has the 4 cylinder turbo engine. Coming from a 2019 Acura MDX you can feel the difference in power. The GH was loud and felt under powered. I imagine the same can be said about this 2025 Forerunner. Even the new Land Cruisers have 4 cylinder turbos! Needless to say, I traded the Toyota within a month for a 2024 Acura MDX and am much happier with my V6 engine.

I laugh at all the hater comments. Every manufacture is using turbos except for Nissan in the frontier and jeep in the gladiator. The bronco uses a turbo and the prices are the same. Heck, ford has been putting turbos in the f150 for over 10 years. Everyone wants to cry over prices- yeah they are higher, but everything is higher. I would say Toyota is on par with the rest of the brands. Reliability- this is not the turbos of the 80s and 90s. My truck is a turbo and it’s really fun to drive. People need to stop being close minded or just stick with your previous generation. But the average new car price in the US is 47k. That’s not a Toyota problem, that’s the reality of the world we live in.

My 2016 4runner SR-5 (not the premium package: i.e only cloth seats - no moon roof - manual rear view mirror) has power driver seat and softex on all the door parts - no cheap plastic. The only upgrades I paid for was Navigation, 4WD, and 3rd row seats. This one looks really cheap to me. Disappointed quite frankly. Of course my 2007 SR5 had automatic climate control - single zone. It's crazy that Toyota keeps on delivering less but charging more. This is not the way to motivate me to buy a new vehicle. I won't be buying a 2025+ anytime soon.

I was starting to like this video before until the guy came in and said, and it does not have heated seats who needs heated seats. Idiot only if you’re an old person, of course

Well maybe you should turn your hearing aids up then. Cuz I said that it doesn’t offer it and for some reason these vehicles had it when they weren’t suppose to per Toyotas website. Then I proceeded to give a thumbs down…

If you don't need a truck, then a Passport would be a good choice, correct.

@@ytj22most 4runner owners buy them for daily commute needs. Only few ever take them to an actual offroad. People would do fine with a N/A V6 passport that offers better ride quality.

☹️ I think it is not at all good looking. I really do not like the plastic black fender trim and the handles. I'll be keeping my 5th gen with the naturally aspirated v6.

Didn’t he say that the last gen was only $70 less expensive? Was there outrage over the prior pricing structure that I just never heard about?
