Great review 👍💥👍 Thanks for giving us information on these awesome units. I live in Southern MS USA and many people loose power here during Hurricane Season. This is very convenient.

It is a chinese shenzen company using english brand names. And it is a nightmare to deal with their customer service that does not really exists as usual and this one is a heavy, expensive equipment. We call it a 2000€ brick or pile of crap right now. If you need such device build it on your own cause you will get far better components and can repair it yourself afterwards. Also the coloumeter had issues on other ones of their lines and it did not delivered the promised power. 1000W are 1000W and it quit about 920W. The fault codes do only help for the "notifications" the serious ones can not be fixed unless you ship it back. No service here. Of cause review is good except the main point: service and warranty they do deliver and how long

14:53 I looked up the product description for the AC200P and it says it uses LiFePo4 Batteries which can maintain above 80% capacity after 3500+ charging cycles. Much better than Li-On batteries and much safer too, with basically negligible overheating problems.
@Techtablets
@Techtablets 3 жыл бұрын
Oh I was think it was 1000 cycles. I know they stated automotive grade but 3500+ cycles and still keep 80% is amazing! The AC50 (small one) standard grade and about 500 cycles

@@Techtablets The Bluetti AC50S that I have says 1000+ cycles, I think the first version AC50 was only 500 cycles. And the really tiny one Bluetti AC30 with the LifePO4 says 3500 cycles just like the AC200P. I cant wait to receive the Big boy from Kickstarter with 5100Wh and over 6000 cycles.GREAT review! Thank you!

Splendid review of powerstations, especially in your format which is always packed with info. Have you heard of teclast's future tablet T40 and T40 5G? From what I gathered the T40 is similar to the m40 except it has a 2k display and a fully laminated screen which looks very promising. The 5G model seems to have another new chip by Unisoc which also seems quite interesting. Hoping you get to review these!

Good video! Thanks! Actually, Bluetti AC200P have to change/improve some futures. 1. Only one PD /USB-C 60W port is not enough, should be 2 ports with 100W output each. 2. Four USB-A 5W ports old-style ports should've changed to two 5W and two 18W fast charging ports. 3. DC 12V/25A output should be changed to DC 12V/30A. * Everything else is perfect! :)

So we'll have to use appliances that uses upto 1800-2000w to keep it in the limit 🤔
@Techtablets

Pretty much, it will surge and go over that for a while but it beeps and isn't happy. It's just for short spikes even over 2000W. When I left the heater on at 2600W if does take too long then it cuts off.

I recieved a AC200P and 12V RV cable over one month ago. Over the past month I have been desperatly trying to get customer support regarding product issues I am having. It is not possible to connect my 12V RV cable 2 pin male to the 2 pin female 12V/25A DC output port on the unit. It seems like female unit has 3 plastic elements that block the male 12V RV cable from pushing in even when lining up the pins and pulling back the outer black metal sleeve of 12V cable. Their appears to be an issue with the plastic injection of this port that makes this connection impossible. Given I was planning on using this in a van build I need the 12V/25A port. It is nearly impossible to talk to anybody at Bluetti or to get a email response from them. When you do it is different people some with outside emails that are not under the Bluetti name. Be prepared for zero customer support should you have any issues; BUYER BEWARE!!!

Great review and thank you so much - very informative. I wanted to ask about the possibile charging option with 2 powerbricks you mentioned at the end - how does that work (isn't there only the one input for the power brick on the AC200P ?)

@Sam-ys4pc This thing is nothing but a big battery and a computer not a generator. This guy and others talk it up because the company gave it to them free for that purpose. This will not replace a real generator. They run out of power quick and your done. No solar cell is charging it quick enough to keep it running and if its bad weather there is no sun and the wind will blow the panels away. Nobody can work on them. If it goes bad your trucking it back and its heavy (at your cost). A real generator fill it with gas and thats it! Anybody can fix it. You dont want to use one of these things for an emergency that lasts more than a few hours. On top of all that there super expensive. And the batteries go bad, the computer locks up and you have to restart it to get it to work again. Dont buy one.

$2500 is a lot of money to spend on a thing like this which has a bit of a "shelf life". I'd like to get one but I'm worried after 4-5 years it just won't hold that much of a charge.

@@Bynming well true, but still the manufacturers are milking old batteries way too much... didn't change from 90s? There are some LiIon or LiFePo but way more expensive. On the other hand you can probably buy sine inverter and own batteries and build a simple one...
@Bynming
@Bynming 3 жыл бұрын
@@SJ-eu7em I'm not particularly knowledgeable on this topic but I think the reason why we still see lead acid battery is they're simply much cheaper, and also to an extent they're safer.
