I am in love with Casita's. I have been stalking their Instagram and KZbin page and I've never seen a Black person owning one...which is discouraging because I'm Black😳. You are the first Black person I've seen on KZbin with a Casita. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The Casita Spirit is my all time favorite. New subscriber!!

Let's face it. We don't see many if us with camper or RVs at all. We have been traveling the U.S with that Casita for years. We have been to KOAs and private camp grounds. I have yet to see another family of color. They are so easy to pull, set up, back in and get into and out of gas stations.

@@bronzefox9035In my experience I've seen a lot of Black campers last year (that's when the existence of Black campers opened up to me). I went to an event in Georgia last year called, "Melanated Campout." It was so much fun. They are on Instagram (That's where I first seen the organization). They are also on Facebook...but I'm not on that platform. I don't know what area you're in but I'm in Virginia. If you go on Instagram you will see a lot of Black campers and hikers. I went on a all Black camping trip with a different group to North Carolina. There's also Black RV groups as well. I went to an event with them as well...but I stayed in my tent. I don't have a RV. My first experience at a KOA was last year in Nags Head and the best RV in the park was owned by a Black couple. There were several Black people out there. If you are willing to travel, Melanated Campout has a website and they are taking reservations for their event this August.

I didn’t even think of not cooking inside because of the carpet. Super smart to keep it outside. Thanks for vid. 👏👏

Yea, I can only imagine the smell of hot grease in that carpet!
