Exactly what I was wondering. Before you did the battery bank setup I was curious how these would do with the 12v fridge. How did the old fridge do?

I have a ToGo 350 I recently purchased, but I don't have a portable fridge. I hear so many good things about the Bluetti. I'd definitely invest in the 2000 watt one if I lived where winter happens. 😁

Can you have the bluetti plugged into the car's cig lighter port and plugged into the fridge at the same time? Will it just pass through power or will the bluetti hog all the power when it's own battery is low? I would like a setup where the I never mess with the power bank or fridge, and as long as I turn the car on every X hours (depending on power bank size and ambient temperature) then everything just works. Have you ever run across a compressor based fridge that can run off USB C?

Your microwave is 700 watts. Why couldn’t you plug that into the Bluetti. Thanks for this video by the way. Nice to see Bluetti getting the love it deserves!
@DutchK753 жыл бұрын
Usually with inverters you don't want to run anything continuous over half of the rated wattage. So a 700w inverter = 350w. I killed a 2500w inverter with a 1500w air fryer. 🤷♂️ Didn't pop a fuse either. It just died. Replaced it with a 4k. No problems.

@@DutchK75 thanks! Helpful info.
@DutchK753 жыл бұрын
@@gingermcintosh6545 I'm going to clarify this. The half power rule applies running continuous. If you have a descent quality 1,000w inverter, a 700w microwave you should be able to run on it for the few minutes you need it to. I doubt anyone would be trying to cook a turkey in a 700w microwave. At least I hope not. Bluetti does make nice products. But for me being a truck driver the 12v sections on them are not the best and there's not enough. I had a EB70 that I gave to my girlfriend'ish type lady friend. And replaced it with a OUPES 1,000 watt and 600w. I had 2 coupon codes for both. They have 3 12v 10amp conections each. And can be USB charged. And they are Lifepo4. Another company VTOMAN is bringing out a 1,500wh Lifepo4 power station I'm interested in. Has a jumpstarter and you can get external battery packs for it. And it has 3 12v 10amp conections. USB charging. If that comes to fruition. I'm going to give my sister and brother in law the 600w OUPES for their camping. She wants a dual zone fridge. And I'll buy her the new Setpower 60 dual zone. They eat a lot 😂

All LiFePO4 batteries are lithium ion batteries but not all lithium ion batteries are LiFePO4’s. The difference is the chemistry used by each battery to move lithium ions around. The LiFePO4 battery uses lithium, iron and phosphate. The more commonly known lithium batteries that are in cell phones, flashlights, etc. use combinations of lithium, cobalt, manganese, nickel, etc. to move lithium ions around. LiFePO4 batteries are not as energy dense as lithium ion batteries using magnesium, cobalt, etc. so they tend to be larger and heavier. But they are capable of thousands of discharge cycles instead of hundreds of discharge cycles. I know, it’s a minor point but I thought some clarification was in order.

How do you like it? I will be getting one on Monday with the 200 watt bluetti solar panel it was about $970. I am going to use it for my ecotric hammer e-bike which I love that ecotric bike. I only have one leg and I have gone 36 miles without any charging cuz I have three batteries. When I got almost home I still had three quarters of one of the three batteries left. If it were not for Tesla we would not have these batteries and I could not afford a ebike

Thanks for that video , very good , a question …. I don’t want to buy a solar panel from bluetti company just a regular one , I sent the, an email they just answer me back this morning saying that Thank you for reaching out to us. The Input parameters of EB55 products are 12V~28V, 8A (200W Max), please make sure that your solar panel is compatible with our EB55 products. How I could see if a regular solar panel is compatible or not , I’m not a knowledge one about solar stuff thanks

Li-ion batteries are more dense, but they cost more. That's why many household products are shifting to lifepho4 battery. Smartphones,laptop and other portable products have to use li-ion because li-ion batteries are like 3-5 times more dense than lifepho4
@mapleleaf9023 жыл бұрын
Hmmm your suggestion?
@MountainSpringsAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Did you read the article I put in the description? The life expectancy of lithium ion batteries is not greater than lithium iron phosphate Lithium-ion gets an average of 500 to 1,000 cycles, whereas lithium-iron-phosphate gets an average of 1,000-10,000 cycles

LiFePO4 batteries are not new. They are safer, longer lasting, less energy density but correspondingly light and cheaper. It's a good option for cars, particularly if not moving little like you. But moving enough to recharge battery from car.
