These portable packs are the future for most of us. We've been using our own battery packs for years and it's about time the manufacturers caught up with dedicated units. My only suggestion would be to add a dedicated high-amp Anderson input, a simple vehicle modification that would juice this thing up on a drive in a fraction of the time.

I have a red Powertech 6 in 1 Power Station I bought about 7 years ago. It’s got a lead battery but It features a 900A jump starter, an Air compressor, LED work light, 2 12V power ports, single USB port and a 400w 240v inverter. I’ve taken it camping for years. Runs lights music, sat tv and the compressor for the beach. I use an esky not a fridge. I’ve never seen anything like it for sale since I bought it until I viewed your vid. Obviously not a patch on capacity of Lithium unit. Maybe time to upgrade and get a fridge.

It's pretty well priced (even compared to AGM) when you start adding all the costs of inverters and wiring (never mind the labor). I think it will cover my needs which include charging several 56v,40v, and 18v batteries for my work tools on a daily basis as long as it's connected to a solar panel. none of my chargers are over 500w draw.

@explorebound
@explorebound 7 ай бұрын
That should work fine, the only downside is that you'll be 'wasting' a bit of power as there is a loss when converting to 240V power using the built-in inverter (probably not enough to be a problem though - depending on how long you need it to run for).

716 Watt-hour means that you can continuously run 716 watts of power for up to a hour before the battery is flat. Just say you were only using a quarter of the watts, so 159 watts continuously, you will be able to run for 4 hours total

Hi mate, it will depend on fridge brand, ambient temperature and how often you open it but you should be able to get 1-2 days of use on a full charge. If you're charging it throughout the day via solar or 12v while driving then you could extend this to longer use. Hope this helps!

Bluetti's AC200P has an inverter that's twice the size (2000w) which would be more than enough for a coffee machine, but it is a bit more pricey. www.bluettipower.com.au/collections/portable-power-station/products/bluetti-ac200p-2000wh-2000w

@explorebound
@explorebound Жыл бұрын
Hi Ashley, I found the unit worked really well over the past year or so, the main thing I used it for was keeping all my camera gear charged, but it would be perfect for your use case and will probably run a standard 40L fridge for about a day depending on temperature and how often you open it. Only thing I will mention is to be careful not to overload the inverter by running anything above 1000w on the 240v outlets. 🙂

Just ordered one of these. Nice that Bluetti actually shows us Auzzies some love. So many other products i would happily of given a shot but just are not available here. My main usecase is powering laptops and other small stuff. Would most likely use the USB C/12v outs way more than the actual inverter but its great its there if you need it. So using this more as a massive power bank than a solar generator. Was also looking at the larger AC200P but that only does 60w on a single USB C Vs this which does 2x 100W. Also this is way more portable. May end up getting a second one

IMO these units suit the more casual camping crowd, those that have subaru type SUV and not so much proper 4wds, where typical campsites they frequent are a short walk from car where the carpark is gated from the site. They typically have low power requirements, just a few camp lights, few phones and torches and not even always a fridge as they lack the space and will probably rock an esky or a tiny fridge at that. These are not cost effective for larger power requirements . They also can't be tucked out of the way into dead spaces , under bonnet or tray etc. They remind me of apple products, very sleek and elegant solution which are easy to use and understand user interface but lack the customisability and functions power users want. They actually seem to be decent value for lower power requirements. Try to piece together a 56ah Lifepo4 capable of 100A discharge, 1000w PSW inverter, 240v charger, mppt regulator, enclosures , usb, usb c pd sockets and shunt based battery monitor. I don't think youll be be far off or even beat it.
