Sonic Frontiers: Werehog Day Night Cycle & Perfect Dark Gaia

Wasnt expecting that transition. I expected Sonic to use the transform animation from Unleashed as the transition. Not the load screen, but the animation playing in real time. I imagine that must take some work to code

It's kinda funny that despite all the hate it got back in the day the werehog still to this day comes back to most Sonic games through the work of modders.

The Werehog was a really neat gimmick, kinda wish they did more with it, like what if he went super sonic like that?

In unleashed there was a similar sort of gimmick, if you collected enough gaia energy during the stages then you could use a energy burst meter called unleashed and it would make the werehog glow with a pretty neat aura, make him stronger, and hit faster

If you want to see Super Werehog, you should check out The Sega Scourge channel. He does, for lack of a better word, Sonic "fan-fiction" called What If, including scenarios like "What If Sonic Lost His Memory?" and, my favorite, "What If Sonic Never Lost the Werehog?". Unfortunately, he's been inactive for half a year and I'm still waiting to finish the series, but what he's made is awesome, and the Werehog arc spans multiple games so far!

This is an Awesome mod. I surprised how well Perfect Dark Gaia over the Supreme Titan works, it’s attacks and movements feel like they fit for the fight and I like how most attacks Sonic makes are actually directed at the big eye.

Considering that they changed the animation for the stomp, it would be amazing if instead of the wind cuts (Sonic Boom) he would throw punches like Luffy

The werehog is a great concept but poorly executed and placed in a setting that does tap into the forms true potential. What if they turned the Sonic Unleached animated short Film into a full game? Qith the Halloween theme and everything?! It could be a whole island called Halloween Island or something & it's filled with vampires, zombies, ghouls & ghosts... WEREWOLVES?! Huh?! HUH?! It just makes so much sense!!

This is pretty great. I'm not even a big Werehog fan, but it's awesome nonetheless. I wonder if there would be a way to naturally tweak Werehog's movement speed so there's a slight difference in control

12:29 that's a perfect mod. Don't know why sega didn't do this, the music was amazing in unleashed, perfect dark gaia looked amazing in unleashed, both super sonic's and daytime sonic's animations were spectacular. I don't mind the enemies, the islands or the other bosses but I feel like there should be more unleashed things in frontiers than just the music.
