@misterboxhead3045 Dark Sonics fighting style is much more vicious. He picked up the robots head and slammed it into the ground with his hand. Super Sonic in Frontiers has a much more casual fighting style in comparison. Yes it is stylish, but it doesn’t scream like Sonic is seeking the fight or doing anything of malicious intent. Dark Sonic in this game does.

OH MY GOD, this is as if every single friend Sonic ever had, especially Tails, was massacred and left by his doorstep one day with a note saying, "This is payback for all the times you've thwarted me" or something else. Then Sonic just absolutely loses it and destroys anyone who gets in his way until he finds whoever murdered his friends. But this time, Eggman isn't there to calm him down from Sonic X. But other than that, this mod is absolutely incredible. Scary, but Insanely good.

Edit: I played him a bit more in the RIGHT stages and I feel like it all depends on the stage if you're gonna have fun or not. I don't mean this to say that the mod is bad, it's definitely not. If you're in the right stage, you'll have a blast. Honestly, I'm disappointed. It's a hard-worked, polished mod but gameplay... isn't that great.

such a cool mod just seems like kind of a shame that his entire kit seems to be dedicated to speedrunning and like following pre-planned / memorized routes instead of also being able to do normal gameplay. I find even SMS to be easier to control and platform with vs X Sonic. I get that veterans love that kind of stuff but he definitely needs more moves / granularity in his speed and control. you're either going way too fast or nowhere at all. and I find the wall running to be unnecessarily strict which breaks the flow and momentum of the character if you didn't time the run up and jump perfectly.

This mod is great and I played it before Vivacity made the video, the only problem with Dark Sonic is that he can't fly and getting combos is problematic with levels that have bottomless pits.
