I got one of the 8R 3D printed ones from BD, mainly because the flame spreader for the roarer burner cost about the same and mine had broken one of the fixing tabs off. 'Win win' for me, stove working + quieter. Another big PLUS is the flame is more concentrated so it doesn't overheat the pot stand bars.

Great brief history about BernieDawg caps. Just ordered one for my Primus Multifuel III after asking Gary by email.
