I highly doubt that the fourth season of Bluey will feature the main character and her sister Bingo as grown-ups. The essence of the show, being a preschool children's program, is the play during childhood with family and friends using imagination. Otherwise, the essence of Bluey would be lost if the protagonist were no longer a child engaging in the games she loves to play. In fact, I am quite convinced that, as in previous episodes, there will only be brief future scenes where Bluey has grown up, but this will certainly not be the main focus of the show. Preschoolers need to continue to see themselves in Bluey and her friends.

There wont be a time skip as such but they dont appear likely to recast so those children will naturally age. Depending on how long it takes to make the next series and start releasing episodes we should expect a couple of years increase tot he ages.

I recently read an article where the creator said he constantly gets requests to "age up" the characters and that's what he intends to do. But "on the horizon"? Yeah that's not accurate lol the team is exhausted after all the post-covid tight schedules and they're taking a break, not to mention that it usually takes roughly two years before another season comes out, so I'm not expecting season 4 until late 2025 at the earliest

Bluey actually stayed behind when others moved to first grade. When a child is 7, they are going to 2nd grade. So if Bluey is going to first grade now, she is 1 grade behind.

I've been watching Bluey since 2020 and me and my little brother and sister love this show. I was 13 and I still watch 😁. What I like is that it is both very fun and imaginative for children but at the same time it also guides and moralizes adults. The decline of today's shows worried me a lot but now Bluey has become one of the best children's cartoons. I prefer this cartoon to Peppa Pig but I won't make a comparison between the two. Of course I'm not a fan of Bluey but this show is incredible.

An time skip of 2~3 years could be good, with older characters more hard and deeply emotions could be introduced like a loss of a family member(like grandad), new friends, new school, love interests, teenagers who think they know a lot about life, but barely know adulthood, as well as acting in a more sentimental and rude way
