I actually didn't catch on that Bluey said "I don't want a valuable lime lesson, I want an ice cream." At first. I didn't realize she said "lime" instead of "life". I found that to be funny and it makes sense that Bluey would hear her dad say lime when he actually said life.

I think that the Bumpy episode was a great one. I like how Bluey and the rest of the Heeler family took the time to make a home video for Bingo and the sets they made for it were amazing to watch, especially the tent scene.

To each their own, I personally love Asparagus but mostly just for how unique they made the character animation when the Heeler's acted like different animals. The expressions, the movements, I was impressed with what they could pull off.

Overall great ranking list! For the most part I agree with a lot of the placements. For me, hands down Camping is the best episode from Season One, it hit home on a personal level. I have a cousin from Montreal. Bluey and Jean Luc's friendship, interactions and language barrier reminds me of when my cousin and I were younger and played together. It brings wonderful memories. Cannot wait for ranking lists for Season Two and Three!!!

16:03 I have a theory, what if Bandit's dad was abusive or treated him badly? I've been learning about Emotional Abuse in school and how Bandit reacted is how survivors of abused parents can feel looking back on that. i absolutely have to validate your love for wagon ride, its one of my favourites. as someone with adhd, i really resonate with bluey in that episode (even though she's not confirmed to have adhd or anything, though my headcanons about her are another matter entirely lol). i see a lot of my child-self in bluey and wagon ride really highlights the idea of impatience and hyperfixating in a way i can empathise with. the way bandit handles bluey's impatience was brilliant as well. its one of those episodes where i find myself pointing at the screen yelling "THATS ME!! THATS ME!!" in regards to the neurodivergency (alongside others such as army, mini bluey, space etc).

I still love The Magic Xylophone, I think it is the perfect pilot, it is one of my most watchable episodes, and while I won’t go so far to say that it is actually one of the best episodes, I think it deserves to be exactly average for being the perfect encapsulation of all the elements of most Bluey episodes. To be honest, I really don’t see the appeal of episodes such as Hotel, Spy Game, Grannies, or Fairies when compared to The Magic Xylophone. But I do want to ask you if you have an episode like that, which you use as a comparison for a lot of other episodes? I do understand that these are all (hopefully) opinions, but Bumpy in the middle of the middle of the list, how can that be! That’s an episode that I would defend being #2 of the entire first season! It always makes me laugh, it’s one of 3 episodes that’s made me cry, and it’s such a cleverly effective story; I’d actually say that it’s more emotionally effective than episodes such as Grandad, Bike, and Chest, because you aren’t expecting the funniest episode to have such a resonant theme

i have anxiety, and withotuer kids shows, my anxiety spikes cause of how easy it is to spike up. Zoo, I'd have put in the top 2 Tiers, I love it when Bluey does a bit of a film spoof, [see also Bus = Speed + Rug Island = Lord of the Flies] it's kind of a cute King Kong spoof and again a bit of the gateway Bluey ep for me as it was the first to nearly make me cry, bit at the end where Bingos in bed all sad and Ooh Ooh/Dad and Bluey turn up at the window [when I was a kid I'd often go to bed sad like that and just told to go to sleep and not fuss]

I love how one episode can be someone's favorite that is overlooked by others. Every episode has at least one person who loves it more than all the others. For me, I LOVE Shadowlands, but it's bottom tier here. I love this show to BITS! I hope more shows exist like this in the future when Bluey eventually ends.

Honestly I would rank all the season 1 episodes on "you are in a million" why you ask is because all of the season one episodes are special to me (but I whould rank blue Mountains on "aaannd why should I care?
