@@Depression_timelost about 15 years ago or so my mom saw a pirates branded liars dice set at a game shop and its been a staple of our family ever since. All you really need is dice and cups. When you lose a round you remove one of your dice from play so the number of dice in play is always changing and as you lose the amount of concrete info you have to work with decreases. The pirates version also treats ones as wild which makes things more interesting when changing the die number called. Played a game with 20 players once and it took forever but it was fun.

I'm generally anti AI but this is the type of game that likely would otherwise not have voice acting at all, it's not really an important part of the game. Like I don't think AI stole anyone's job for this game

It's not the exact number, Its exact or more. So you call one 6. And the next person calls liar. If the table has 2 or more 6's then you drink.

@@Dibby0156 OK that's the context I needed for how this game actually worked! Got it, nobody's really explained the dice one to me and it always looked like an exact count. So you call two fours and so long as there are not 3 or more out your good, that make sense.

Inhuman voices arent "stealing" voices outside of vocal ranges that people don't have. I despite AI "work" but this is being outrageous and silly. The game is also upfront about this. This is clownery over nothing.

Audio models like this very evidently rip the voices of different artists to train to make a new voice. In a sense illegally using their way of making money for those models. As this is not regulated yet I have not seen a case with these large language models where they source or compensate those artists.
