Nice list. I was vacationing in Bluffton before Memorial Day this years. Some pluses and minuses I experienced in no particular order. Pluses, Friendly people. Saying Hello, Good Morning, How's it going all seem to be the norm. Food and restaurants. Olde Town Bluffton has incredible places to eat. Art. Calhoun Street is a wealth of local art. The local art society's location shows off exceptional work from the local artist. Nature. At the moment it's all over. The live oaks are amazing, plants and animals galore. Festivals. Seems to be one every weekend. Not to mention the weekly Farmer's Market. Minuses. As you mentioned the Roundabouts are beyond dangerous. Especially for those of us not from the area which are many. Styrofoam. I haven't seen so much of this stuff. And it doesn't go away. But I'm from NY which has a more progressive approach to the environment. Overgrowth. So much new construction of buildings which leads to destruction of nature. It's a real shame seeing this happen. Plus how will this affect evacuations during hurricane season? Handicapped Accessibility. In Olde Town Bluffton many businesses are not easily accessible to those using wheelchairs, and walkers. I forgot one big plus. The Mayor of Bluffton is extremely accessible. I've had multiple email conversations with her. That type of accessibility with a public official is very rare these days.

I do agree with the overgrowth, there is so much new construction going on outside of Old Town and unfortunately at the expense of nature. I've you haven't been, you should give Beaufort a visit!

Recently moved to bluffton. Unbelievable town. We live close to town so we walk Any retail store is 1-2.5 miles away. Traffic is not that bad. Just learn to avoid rush hour times. Roundabouts are fine once u understand the rules - I get it that newcomers may find it difficult. Beach parking is free and the beaches are beautiful and not crowded even in peak season Enjoy
