Why do you go from right to left and not left to right as other exercises are meant to be? This apparently to support the preparation for reading left to right.

Good job. What age do you present it like this? We were shown to use units arrows for the first 8, and then to count all the numbers but afterwards just count 8,16 etc forwards and backwards. I guess this is for 7 or 8 year olds who already know some of their timestables.
