I always love seeing these and all the GORGEOUS art that goes into these!! Partially because it introduces me to adding more unique features to dragons and character design, but also because it pushes me to work harder and get better. I’m always hoping to win whenever I see contests, with so many entries! So whenever they end and other, we’ll deserving people win, I always try and get better. Anybody else notice that how for this contest, exactly like the koi contest, didn’t have any traditional art mentioned? Traditional art took up a good chunk of the entries. It makes me sad Cyprus isn’t really giving the traditional artists a chance to shine

I don’t get how people get the positioning so good. I use pictures of my dog to help get the proportions and anatomy right. If you compare certain dog breeds and some dragons, there can be a slight resemblance especially when it comes to leg and shoulder placement
