I love visitors coming in and touching everything. I line up food and drink for visitors. I have enough stuff. I'm only 2 weeks in the game, and level 52. But if I see a newer player enjoying my camp I will drop a few stims for them.

Pro tip advice, don't hold it against the wasteland. I have to remember this myself. Meaning don't let a few bad apples ruin how you play. Be you and enjoy yourself. Some play for pvp, pve etc etc. Do what you enjoy. Keep in mind not everyone is gonna play for ths same reason. God bless, see ya in the wastes.✌️😁

Personally camp building at beautiful sights and making something you cant tell if it is naturally there or a player home. Making cabbins near high traffic areas with several beds and storage available and convenient. And most of all i love that the majority of the player base has the same mentality. You all are beautiful and ty for doing your part to rebuild america!

One time I accidentally auto-lockpicked someone's door and got a 5 caps worth bounty. Two minutes later, when I teleported to Whitesprings entrance some 1356 lvl player killed me in one second... for 5 caps. Well, hope they didn't spent it in one place

You realize they did you a favor right? You lose certain functional features when you're "wanted"... like having other players on your map. They FIXED ~your~ mistake for you. They didn't for it for "5 caps", they did it to HELP YOU. Next time it happens, take off your armour, so they can help you, AND you avoid taking a little damage to your gear. This is the way.

I try to get all plans for new players. I noticed higher level players only put valuable plans. Players that are new need all the easy plans.

The lore one about not placing your camp in high traffic areas.. that is just being very nit picky.. I understand you want it to look "aesthetically correct" but that is why I love this game that people have their own minds and show their own creativity on how they wish to express their camp, that is the fun about mutiplayer games and not everyone conforming to fitting in to the surroundings 🤷🏻‍♀️ personally if it bothers you so much just switch servers (anyone who gets upset about people not building lore accurate camps)

@@deshanesmith6580 I set up a temporary camp to plant some crops when some guy a hundred or so meters away started practicing his accuracy towards my direction. I didn't get damaged by any of the shots so I didn't think anything from it, but I was a bit surprised to find my corn plants cut in half lol.

The first part you talk about is it ok to take things from people's camps. My exact mindset aligns perfectly with what you said. If its not locked or hidden away then go for it! We can secure anything we want to save for ourselves if we want to so If its there take it and enjoy! Especially food growing. If you plant say...10 corn 10 mut fruit, 10 melons and 10 blackberries you would be surprised how quickly you get over loaded with the fruits and their respective dishes! I am constantly selling 100 of multiple teas and soups to vendors lol

Had super mutants attack my camp, they destroyed most my generators and connections, worst of all they destroyed my coffee machine. Somehow I got a secondary Crusader Pistol from one of the mutants though which for a split moment I thought they stole that one I already had - but it had lower stats. I made a simple shop and med bay place just below Foundation (not sure if random people can use the Doctor I got, but I sell a bunch of stuff that I try to keep at fair prices).

So the fertilizer thing can be found at the settlers bullion sales person. Just have to max out the settlers faction thingy. And there’s also things at the crater sales robot that you can get if you max there faction thingy as well. Like the dirt floors, can only get the plan for them at the settlers after getting them to a certain faction level. That aslo includes the auto miner bee hive and a few other things that are nice to have.

A good trick for people that don't have good plans for base but a friend does is don't join a open party go to your friend and start private party with them should say hold down button to start party. And they can build stuff in your camp you cant if they have the plans on your base so you have it and you can store it as well but you cant make it your self and is yours's till you scrap it just a good way to get stuff if you don't have it but a friend does.

Long time fallout player, first time 76 player. My first evening yesterday and I immediately encountered your immersion issue when I found my first player camp down the road from the overseer's c.a.m.p.. a giant black-purple japanese technodojo surrounded with black enclave bots. I was so confused trying to figure out what it was doing there, story wise. Didn't realise what it was until I found a bobblehead stand inside. It just felt... Wrong. 😅

The turbofert and a ton of different collectrons are available via a gold vendor in the world expensive tho

7:29 while i would say the fusion core recharger is useful i for one got it, but you have to pay attention and swap your cores out before they are depleted, i find having the fallout first sub is better as for when you need a stack of fusion cores you can just open a private world take the 3 power plants and spend a hour or 2 farming fusion cores, i like using power armour and a stack of 40 fusion cores lasts me about 2 weeks or more, and i mean like your gaming most of each day without the perk card that extends the life of fusion cores

I think the used fusion cores auto swap when they hit 25% They may re-equip if you run out of others with a higher charge though. Not sure

And the collectron! Get of as quickly as you can! Make it a priority and save up for it of you need to. Mine stays on collecting ammo and weapons like 90 percent of the time. On occasion ill have him collecting junk but not usually. I really wish it would keep up with how much of what he has collected. He talks way too much smack. He is also addicted to chems and....NUKAAAAASHIIIINE! He always threatens to burn my camp down and start stealing everything but he is all talk lol. I mean ALL talk ALL the time. He really needs a mute option.

I have a question, (old player returning) and I have stored my camp to move it to a better place near water. Now I can't place it anywhere I tried even if it show blue and not red. It is a classic 3x5 build. If there is no way to place it is there a way to spilt it up so do not have to grind to get all the stairs back ???? (ps I have made an alt and place build almost the same camp building on that char. just to see if it can be build the same why)

I broke my stored camp up. The individual items show up as "stored" and you can use the old items to rebuild your camp. There is about a 0% chance you can move your camp and use a blueprint unless it is just foundation so find a good neighborhood and stay awhile.

As a new player I was jarred by player homes that just look.... out of place... started at one and I'm level 57 and I only have one goal for the game. Unlock new stuff for camp and make the most convenient, senic, and picturesque player homes. Saved my atoms up for camp 3, and currently have 2 beautiful houses that you couldn't tell were player homes. I just absolutely love wandering around cliffs untill I find that place that's *just right*
