Ok but can we appreciate the fact that Damon knows he's famous. He doesn't deny it but still is humble when saying so. God they really suck in this period, sorry but The Great Escape sucks outside of few songs. They were becoming a parody of themselves. The change of style in the self-titled was the best possible decision.

i actually really enjoy the great escape, it was very experimental and fun, yet some songs were deep and interesting!

They made a good choice in not releasing this. Vacuous philosophizing and no good tunes. Meanwhile Oasis marched toward dominance.
