I swear this is true right , I was at this gig , it was pretty special , and something happened to me during this song , At around the 5.05 minute Mark in beetlebum I turned to my friends and said "did everything just go weird and stop there for a second " They all said "No " ,then everything went fukin apeshit in my vision and head and it felt like the world exploded, Then I woke up , in the mud lying back submerged in mud , I had basically totally tripped out and blac ked out , I was ok like I only saw this video years later when it was published on KZbin in 2007 , . And this the BBC footage of the headline performance , and there is a ,massive glitch on the video , I swear , something actually happened , Graham coxon tore a hole in space time with his hugeness , I m sure of it

I love Oasis. However, i can't name a single song by them which is better than "Beetlebum". This song is a masterpiece.

Indeed, the charts battle may not have ocurred, but I do not think that would have change a lot the history, imo. By this time where america was starting to rule the world, Britpop/rock was the answer ans the media had their subject to cover, and, well, set up the whole thing. Personnally, I love both bands (the 90's albums particularly), think it is no need tho decide who is better, that is a matter of taste :-P !!!

how does graham get that lovely sound on the outro riff? there's definately delay in there but it sounds like something more.

A dd5 delay pedal pro rat pedal and the Marshall gain cranked

Their songs are unique. Original compositions, not pop copies.
@PantheonLincoln15 жыл бұрын
Just delay and distortion. Nothing more. Around the time this was shot, Graham used 2 ProCo Rat pedals for his main distortions, and a Boss DD-3 for delay. the Amp is a Marshall Plexi. I've always liked Graham's tone on late 90's Blur stuff.
