This track is a sample of what an experience it is to listen to this new album. Blur always makes very consistent albums, but this one is magical. It seems that you are transported to a parallel universe - sometimes it seems the musics come from the future, sometimes they seem to come from a distant past. In addition, Damon is so mature as an interpreter that he became one of the best England ever had. Also amazing how Graham and Dave are confident as back vocals in most tracks. Their rececent live appearences are also very respectful to the public. So proud to be a fan of this band.

What a great moment I enjoyed last Sunday. Huge full moon here in Buenos Aires, and Blur opens their live show with this song. I just closed my eyes and thanked the universe for being alive at the same time as Damon is. Love this band so much.Hope they come back soon.

Fun fact the song that is now a full song lol was on an Damon Albarn solo album (kinda) called democrazy in 2003 while still with blur touring around America he recorded them in various hotel rooms and only some songs so far have been released fully like the first song I need a gun got turned into dirty Harry on demon days the other ones are either instrumentals or are just little tunes he came up while he was touring but surprisingly he returns to that era originally this song was called half a song just a little acoustic chill, and it was only half a minute long hence the title been called half a song I had listened to the album today and to be honest, it was very surprising hearing that he actually brought a song back from that period I think democrazy should get a rerelease its a nice little album filled with cute demos tbh but the album was pretty good i loved nice to see blur and Damon still doing music 😊

What an opener! So happy to hear that Damon finished Half Song from Democrazy (still have the vinyl!). The song takes on a David Bowie meets Scott Walker vibe, but some of the psychedelic production has echoes of Super Furry Animals. Really love this song, and so happy that Blur are back.

Ragazzi hanno oltre 50 anni: sarebbe stato cringe fare un album che scimmiotta i Blur ventenni. È un album molto malinconico perché si è portati a tirare le somme di oltre 30 anni di carriera. Per me un lavoro stupendo, intimo e di qualità. Questa canzone in particolare è bellissima.
