I will miss the Best Buy exclusives, but I will not miss the companies attitude and lack of respect towards physical media. I think it’s funny that people believe that streaming is the future, when in fact the prices keep rising for every single streaming service by a staggering amount, and that is a desperate move by desperate companies. People will get sick of subscribing to the many different streaming services because they’re ridiculously overpriced, and then maybe physical media can have a resurgence much like vinyl did. My Best Buy is in the same condition. There are only a few racks even left and they clearly don't care where they stick stuff. I didn't buy anything at a BF sale, though this week I did get the Oppenheimer steelbook and the Fugitive steelbook, as well as picked up Mean Streets at the B&N sale. For initially saying I wasn't going to buy any Criterions this month at the sale, I've ended up picking up seven so far. So much for willpower.

I got the icon from Walmart as well as the slip cover from Best Buy. It's a pain in the ass getting two of the discs out of the sleeves while one of the discs keeps slipping part way out . Wish I had skipped it but yeah it does look very cool.

Black Friday not same anymore . I had already bought A LOT of 4K movies online -and picked up- at Best Buy . MANY. Black Friday used to be fun. No more. I did buy only 2 at target. And now bought 4 more for cyber Monday. I’m trying to buy a lot before Best Buy stops selling video. If Hollywood stops physical media, and only streaming, I will stop buying;,on Black Friday: I did go to my regular local stores: best buy and Walmart and Target. Did buy several on Walmart. Best Buy wouldn’t price match my Oppenheimer either. So went next door to Target and they did price match it. Then I picked up Fugitive & Saw X at Target too and returned the pre orders of those back to Best Buy & made sure to let them know I was returning them because they wouldn’t price match.

My best buy movie section is all gone. They have all the movies on a restock cart and when price checking i had to look on their website. The had a small shipper with a couple of ne release with incorrect black friday prices on them. So disappointing. I ordered a few movies from Best Buy for the Black Friday deals. Sisu, jaws2, mortal kombat came with slips. The ones that didn’t was super Mario brothers, Willy wanka and the chocolate factory and I know what you did last summer didn’t come with slips. So disappointed, then slips are hard to find. All 4k.

You bought Oppenheimer and Insidious for the same price as it was at Target, however Target has buy 2 get 1 free deal, and you could have got Margaret for free if you bought them from Target. Actually insidious would have been free because it was a little cheaper than Margaret.
