Sometimes, just sometimes there is a moment where Geoff’s carefully crafted mask slips and you can see his eager little face light up as he tells a joke designed to annoy his guests. His eyes flit quickly round the screen as he looks for the approval he knows he doesn’t deserve, and he waits eagerly to hear the reaction. This golden moment happens at 30:03. Fleetingly, we see a glimpse of the real Geoff. I hated it and will not be watching again.
