Im glad you broke down this system as a beginner i tend to forget my system which is the same as your tutorial, But when watching so many different barbers on youtube i try to follow everyones system and it throws me off and it causes me to take alot longer on a cut and eventually i end up messing up...Great video man

Thank you for the technique. Confirmations sir. I started using the same technique of the framing with the 3 then the 2, setting then taking out the bake blade guideline, then jumping straight into the one and leaving the half guard for Cleanup about a month ago, and I’ve seen a drastic change in my fades. This example by using the purple And magnetic guards also really confirmed that I’m on the right track! appreciate you bro🫡🙏🏾💪🏾

Wondering why you don't like the andis cordless masters? Is there any specific reason why most barbers prefer the mod on a wahl
@MoeLehster3 жыл бұрын
Just some clarification for some of you guys who might not know: He says the 1.5 guard open is longer than the 2 closed, BUT that is not rue if you’re using wahl clippers. Maybe on the Masters it is? Since the Masters opens up longer than the other clipper companies. But for Wahl, 1.5 open is definitely shorter than 2 closed. Same with .5 guard and 1 guard

Been doing my own hair for a couple years now since pandemic started. Looks better and better. Still want to understand why when doing the step with the 1 blade most guys start with it open? I have 1 and a half on top on my head so is that even necessary or can I go in with 1 closed then hit the half? Also I see lot of guys doing 4 clicks when fading up or even down. Does it matter it seems easier to do open taper, then half way then closed. Explanation would be very helpful. Ty and keep up the good work. Vids are great!

I’m curious, what’s the difference between a half guard like 1.5 and just a 1 guard open?
@Reborn953 жыл бұрын
The 1.5 and the 0.5 are pretty much just blending guards
@evildead20023 жыл бұрын
Perc Boi doesn’t a 1 guard open make a 1.5 though? Sorry just working it out.
@Reborn953 жыл бұрын
@@evildead2002 Yes it makes it a 1.5 , but but the actual 1.5 guard just makes it easier to blend with the 2 which is why it’s just considered a blending guard, same with the half guard
