It is a very relaxing video, Tamara. We have so much in common! I tend to like all of the lipstick, eyeshadow, and blush shades as you. My Black Friday purchases have been few, I bought a lip liner, a lipstick, and a mascara. I also bought two bras. I needed all of these items so I took advantage of the sales. I’ve been hooked into buying things I didn’t need in the past, I try to be more thoughtful about my purchases now.

24:35 For people who want to repurpose items: liquid blushes can be used as lipsticks/stains if too much for cheeks. Same with lipsticks that are too light for lips, use on the cheeks. Would probably work well with cream blushes too. (Alternative to getting rid of items that money has been spent on. It saves $.) 😊💜

Loved this video so much, Tamara! I have some of the same blushers, and couldn't agree more about liquids - beautiful concept but too fiddly to use. Like you I don't do much bronzing so not sure why I have the huge Charlotte Tilbury cream bronzer, for example - it'll never get used up! I do have the Hourglass Dragon, though, a recent purchase - review coming soon, btw - but so far am loving it. Sadly didn't get on with the RMS's but I bought much too deeper a shade. Thank u for the video ! I am avoiding all Black Friday and Cyber Monday YT videos. I have yet to find a cream blush that performs better than Milani Cheek Kiss (it is not greasy on my cheeks). Ive hit pan and the lid has broken off. I may search for the cheek kiss palette. I agree with Loreal bronzer

Lovely video and an interesting flip on the season. I've seen other folks on You Tube say the Merit blushes fade quickly. What's your experience on that point?

Good question! Because my skin is pretty dry, makeup, including foundation and blush tends to last quite well on me. On me, Merit lasts as well or better as some of the other creams I was sharing. It also depends on the shade. When I was swatching, I did notice several of the deeper shades left a bit of a stain, even after scrubbing with a makeup wipe, so thats a good sign when it comes to longevity. And it's super easy to touch up if needed. Not sure how it would wear on oilier skin types. I will say Merit is not quite as long lasting as for instance, Rare Beauty liquid or some other super pigmented formulas, however, for me the trade off is worth it to have an easier, more natural looking blush. Having said that, in the summer when it's more humid and my skin is less dry I will sometimes double blush to give it added longevity. Meaning, I top the cream with a dusting of powder blush. The combo lasts longer than either cream or powder blush alone. Hope this helps!

I have the Westman Atelier petal stick blush. There were so many influencers raving about this at one time, that I thought I had to give it a try. I have found that to be the most underwhelming stick or cream blush I have. I find the formula to be stiff and not particularly blendable, the color is fine, but not a wow and I think it reads kind of flat on my face. Now I have 62 year old skin, but it's not that dry. I don't know I found it super disappointing, especially since it's pricey and one influencer in particular said it was a must have. I just don't feel that way about it.

Im watching in chunks. A little at a time. I have aome vlush i have had for years i want to use up. Its matte but I layer some darker hourglass powder that is to dark for all over my face but it really livens up the matte blush.

I collected them over time...Usually on sale. And the mini gift sets are much less expensive. So three full size at around $25 (on sale) and two mini sets at about 40 each. That's $155 spread out over time. Thank goodness I love and use them all!
