Blush™ Nandina domestica 'AKA' PBR is different than most other Nandina types, in that it shoots red new growth in Summer, Spring and Autumn. Most Nandina types only have red new growth in Winter. In Winter BLUSH™ Nandina also has a deeper more vibrant red colour than other Nandina types, is very tough, drought and frost tolerant, and is quickly becoming a favorite amongst top landscape designers.

I live in zone 7b here in NY. My blush pink Nandina never have turned red in Winter. They stay the same color year round. Maybe it’s not cold enough?
