Kaum deutsche Kommentare. Schade.Blutengel besteht seit etwa 20 Jahren. Bis jetzt habe ich die Gothikszene nicht beachtet. Blutengel habe ich erst jetzt zufällig gesehen und ich muss sagen dass ich alle die Jahre was verpasst habe. Echt tolle musik. Chris Pohl tolle Stimme. Die süße Maus Ulrike ist sehr süß und hat echt grandiose mega Stimme. Ich bin echt geflasht. Schade dass man im Radio nichts von hört. Urlike würde mit ihrer Hammer-Stimme einige Welt-Megastars in den Schatten stellen. Ab sofort läuft die Musik bei mir. Echt toll 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It's been long 5 years, it was around this time too. I was fifteen and was just starting high school. The friend who showed me this song is dead. I remember I didn't like the song when I first listened to it. He told me to give another shot with a serious look on his face. I didn't understand why because I've never seen him that serious before and even more, for a song. Didn't even know the song's name back then. But I gave it another shot. Liked it, but eventually forgot about the song. The lyrics didn't make sense back then too. At the time, he had broken up from a relationship and was in a dark place while I was ABOUT to fall in love. He died a few months later because of a sickness and the love of my life left me. I lost them both and the pain was unbearable. It was last year that I got a got over it and was so to say ‘healed’, we can say that I got better. Now I listen to this again, FOUND it again. As the song started, as the singer started to say ''Sing'' and the beat started from the backround, I could feel that my heart was beating with the beat in the background at the same time. I started to have flashbacks of my past life with him and my life back then. My friendships, love, relationships, my life, his death...The fire that had gone out for long, long time, started to spark again in my chest, I felt as if I was burning from the inside. When they finished the first chorus, it was as if HE was saying the lyrics. I bursted into tears in the last chorus because I had gone through all these AND without him and his support. I'm 20 now. He's gone and I'm here. I cried because of how funny it was... funny how I was ''sing''ing this song or him now, funny how life plays tricks on you, me, everyone, funny to see how broken I got over the years. To be honest, you can be 37, 57 or 80. When you lose the love of your life or your best friend, it will ALWAYS hurt. Now, as the song says, ironically, I sing this very song for all the people I've lost, for all the friends I used to trust, for all the dreams I left behind. A shame how and why I didn’t look for this song before. Darn shame. EDIT: Details in comments

music is a very powerful medium and can carry some incredible emotion with you through your life. I only located Blutengel music some months back and am addicted to it- it links in with lots of stuff happening in my life and will be permanently linked to that.

@@plastiqueneurosis I had a friend in 6th grade. She knew me very well as I did for her. She would tell me about her most private problems and so did I. We were there for each other. It felt like we were almost soulmates. After a while, we decided that we can't be friends anymore. At the year's end, she changed her school and we never talked again. I'm in collage now, last year, she called me and said she wanted to be friends. For 8 years, she had kept my phone number, I was amazed. We start talking again, 2 months into talking, we started dating. 5 months into the relationship, as we were talking a walk outside in the night, she showed me this song. Until 1:03, I didn't recognize the song. Immediately after remembering the song, I have a crying jog, sitting on the pavement. People actually look outside their windows and ask my gf if there is any help or an ambulance needed, because I was also throwing myself on the floor enough to actually hurt myself, because I really did want to hurt myself. The whole time I was asking and screaming; ''WHY?!?!! HOW?!! WHY NOW? HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS SONG?!?!!!'' She said: ''I found this song the day it came out. When I listened to it, and it reminded me the relationship we had. It made me remember you. I was scared to call you or even speak to you, so I sent the link of the song to [My friend's name] and told him to make you listen to this song...He didn't tell you???'' No. He didn't. But he did made me listen to the song before he passed away. He passed away because he was having 70-90 cigarettes a day and had a terrible accident. His family told me that if his lung was in a better condition he could have been saved. He showed me the song and the lyrics. I didn't get it because I haven't gone through the song was implying. He showed me and asked ''It's a nice song isn't it??'' which I responded with ''I guess...yeah, it's nice.''. Then he lighted a cigaratte, smiled, ''Yeah...nice song.'' He passed away very few months later. He was so depressed, drowning on his own shit so much that he actually forgot to tell me. He was also having memory problems. I should have known. I was also blaming myself for his death at some point. I went into severe depression, I was VERY, VERY sick. I made choices that would later have severe consequences because of my depression. I remember....one day I realized he wasn't getting out of his house for so long, so I called him up and said ''Let's go see a movie.'' We talked during the movie and all, but he was dead silent. We went to a mall and after the movie we got up the fast-food floor of the mall and divided to get food, but before we did, we decided where we should sit so we would find each other again. After I got my food, I went to the table, his food was there, untouched, but he wasn't at the table. I searched the whole upper floor, and found him looking outside of the window of the mall. He was literally watching the traffic and the cars passing by. I putted my arm around him and asked, ''Hey man....How long has it been since you went outside?''. He responded with ''I think....like...2 months...?''. I wish you were here, my friend. I wish I could help you. I wish we could sing this together. I wish we could sing.

But, I read your story and realize someone has a completely different experience that I envy. It is better to have loved once and lost than to have never loved at all my friend.
