She Makes a great Statue of Liberty! The stand is fantastic even if it’s not fully finished. Wow! Over 300! That’s amazing! Oh Vegas! How fun! The hangers are really cute. You got some great gifts in that bag! The pull ring is adorable. Love the Baby Jesus. So precious! Aww the little Grinch! The CareBear is so cute! Can’t believe all the the goodies you got. Very generous of everyone! Aw that little pony! The new doll is so cute! I like her in the box too. Dorie will love those! Ha! That’s what I just said!😂 The red hair doll is so pretty! Beautiful. It was so nice to meet you at the Wonderland of Play event. Thank you again for my gifts!! I was truly surprised when you said I have something for you. The crown and torch are fantastic, thanks Darin. I even found a blouse that matched the skirt and shoes. I took a picture, and it is on the Wonderland of play Facebook page. If possible, I will try to come to the Blythe Con next year. I'm sure we have the same thoughts about this event. 😊

I cannot believe they put their logo on the bags instead of BlytheCon. As someone who has been to many, MANY conventions, I have never heard of doing that.

It's not their logo; Wonderland of Play is the name of the event, which is imprinted on the bag. This year, Wonderland of Play, usually a global doll event, was in lieu of Blythecon since volunteers are not always able to host a Blythe-specific event annually. Wonderland of Play isn't exclusively Blythe-focused which is why there are so many other dolls that were part of the event! :) Jen's business is Earth Angel Studios (which is incorporated in her logo), and Suzie's is Suzie et Gus. The event was hosted by both of them and a team of other volunteers. Unlike other conventions, there isn't a standard Blythe convention where there is a budget with rollover, so most of the costs are always fronted by the people who are hosting/planning the event in the hopes they can make enough ticket/table sales to at least break even. I was interested in hosting one a few years back, but it was a bit too much for me to undertake financially. :)

We were the couple you let have the first Chasing Rainbows! Cory had been back to the table several times and couldn't decide, and sure enough 2 of the 3 he liked sold. We figured that this one also was "sold" - honestly! And when you said no, let him have it - it made me just tear up - that was so kind and generous of you. And to find out you DID get her after all! See - your sweet gesture was seen by the Doll Angels and you got blessed with one. I think that was his sister helping him - he designed the interesting dress she was wearing. I'm also the one who traded with you for the knitted hat I made.
