Taste of Culture has to be the best Idol show/interview out there. The questions and conversations are on another level. BM school in session: 21:15, "The only thing about life that's fair is that it's unfair to everybody!" Lou 22:40 Everything he said, is factual life lessons. Overall my conclusion is that your past struggles, heartbreaks, and hardships don't have to define you, but it does make you into the person you are today. All of you guys are amazing❣

2:03so funny but it just shows how Lou and ous made BM so comfortable that he gave them his phone without caring when I tell I’m so proud of these two been a fan since popcorn family days and to see them grow to been able to interview idols is such a joy and they make everyone feel comfortable that the idols forget it’s even an interview cause they just chilling and BM is comedic gold I tell you 😂😂😂😂

Never invalidate pain. Even if someone else is suffering more, your feelings are valid. Your emotions are valid and there's a reason you feel like you do. It's therapeutic to let yourself hurt so you can process and release the pain.

I like to stay grateful and appreciative of what I have because there is always someone that has it worse but don't invalidate your feelings because you believe that someone is always going through worse. You are allowed to feel and hurt because everyone feels and hurts differently and goes to different things. it's just not to take for granted and complain about what you do have. But to grow from where you are and not to stay and wallow and sit in misery and self-pity but grow from your situation and misfortune. but to remember that you are allowed to feel what you're feeling you're allowed to be hurt when you're hurt you're allowed to be sad when you're sad. You're allowed to feel it just don't sit wallow in it and use it as a crutch not to grow or to be a better you for yourself.

it's true that the more you're grateful, the more you have. once you count your blessings, you'll find there's more than you thought you had.

FO Squad Kpop I really want to say thank you for all your hard work. I am so glad that I subscribed to this channel. You guys have introduced me to some kpop idols and groups who I would not have checked out before, especially with the Taste of Culture series. I found your channel via BTS, I am a 50-year-old Army from Florida. So, keep striving and elevating this channel.

I see so much of humanity trying to make themselves hard to cope with life. Can you imagine if we put the same amount of energy into how we treat each other and the conditions we create so life doesn't have to be coped with?

🥰 LOVED this conversation! 🤔My 2 cents: 27:00 Personally, I love the person I use to be but I am not attatched to that person. Most of the core parts of my personality don't change but today I think, process, and approach life differently. I still have some of the same flaws and parts of myself I wish to always keep but realistically as I go through life changes, so will I. What keeps me grounded is knowing that when I stray off course, I have the ability to make positive changes. Ya see, the great thing about imperfection is that you can continue to improve as long as you refuse to be stagnent, keeping a desire to strive for a better version of who you were yesterday. So then, I don't hold onto my past self because she IS my past... so I'm disconnected from her. Although a reflection of who I was in a particular period of time, make no mistake, I am not her and she is not me.

If you did a complete 360, aren't you just back to where you started...? --------------------------------------- To play the devil's advocate, though--gratefulness can only get you so far. One can acknowledge blessings and consciously appreciate them, but it's simply not possible to force the emotion of feeling thankful. Being appreciative DOES NOT mean you are obligated to be happy or satisfied. This is for everyone out there who's been told to 'count your blessings' too many times. This is important! Because it's too easy to invalidate your own struggles just by comparing oneself to those who 'have it worse'. Repeatedly forcing yourself to count your blessings and not feeling better afterwards will make you feel guilty for not being happy and feel unworthy of what you have, as if you are somehow 'in the wrong' being an ingrate. This is neither helpful nor constructive when it comes to solving real world problems! Like mental health concerns like depression and/or anxiety, etc.! Sincerely, someone who's been there too long
