As with all standardized testing, it’s not perfect and may not accurately portray the strengths of every student. A lot of schools have become test optional these days.

I will say as someone BM’s age, they were grading the SAT on a 2400 point scale for a hot second so I’m not surprised he’s confused lol.

ACT is the standardized test that is/ was (it's up to the student or school choice now) in the Midwest of the US, and since Peniel is from Chicago that's why he took it instead of SATs (im from Chicago too and same here)

I'm pretty happy with my ACT score too 😄 I didn't get a 30 like Peniel but I got a 26

Lol. 1010 here. I took it in 2003 and came straight from a party and was still hung over. I still hold on to the fact that it was 10 points above the national average for female students at the time!
