Down south along the gulf if you stay close to the ocean you have to have flood insurance but not always. Its super expensive so most people get fire insurance and whenever the floods come they set fire to the house for insurance money

This is wild. I used to have FTA sattellite and for some weird reason I was getting local New Orleans news on it up here in Ontario Canada. I just heard that same newscast on this podcast where the guy was saying "we have what appears to be a man on his roof" or whatever. That was weird hearing that same helicopter dude again.

It's called an STS (static transfer switch) you can do it manually or let the equipment do what it's suppose to do. Once you lose power it Automatically changes over to battery backup or generator. Whichever you have.
