I feel I must share this comment as unfortunately I think the intent behind this has gone unnoticed by most people. Eddie said in the interview released prior to this video, that they wanted to create something controversial with this video- something that challenges how videos are made, and something that challenges them as artists and musicians. He also stated that he believes that in doing so, this is going to give the audience a form of closure from this album. It is added together for the story telling of the album, and as far as I understand - Alleviate closes up the storyline (which you can also tell as phraces and scenes from Chasing Shadows keeps coming back in Alleviate's video). I loved both singles in and out of themselves, but I moreso truly appreciate their story telling and daring to step out of their comfort zone to create something that (to my knowledge) has not been done, at least in this genre. Deepest and most sincere respect to Imminence. They are, and always have been my favorite band. I cannot wait to follow them through the years and see what other creations they will have up their sleeves.

Really don't know to be honnest like Temptation was kind of the beginning of them showcasing their better sound and how they were going to sound and for sure it is the heaviest one. Ghost, Chasing Shadows and Heaven in Hiding are pretty in a similar style but still with differences which make them really solid songs but that's why I prefer alleviate because there is so much details in the structure the vibe, the tones and the instrumentals that are similar to the previous singles. And Alleviate is probably my favorite because it shows diversity and a more emotional side Imminence that is still heavy in its way especially with this bridge so yea can't wait for the album !

Their stuff is amazing. The ambience, the vocals. If you go back through their entire discography they seem to get better with each album/ They have evolved quite a lot really, but not in the way of most bands. They went from heaviest of heavy's, to pop, and then back leaning towards heavy with a bit of a pop polish and influence.

I loved all their singles but as far as picking my favorite, I would say it is Alleviate. Followed by Heaven in Hiding, Ghost, Temptation, and Chasing Shadows. I like how there is a mix of hard and soft songs in this album. The softer songs, to me, showcase Eddie’s voice in a more emotional light while the other three show his diversity from literally screaming one moment to singing the next. One of the best bands by far.

Please don't rage on me because of what I'm going to say. But I get real early "30 seconds to mars" vibes from that second song. And I mean that in the best possible way. I remember listening to songs like "The Kill" and "From Yesterday" back in the early days thinking: This is next level stuff. Also because of the creative video's. This gives me that same vibe and feeling x1000. This band has found a way to pick up all the best parts out of the old styles and combine it into a fresh new creative masterpiece. I'm looking forward to the album or whatever is next to come!

I agree with you that Alleviate has a 30 Seconds to Mars vibe, especially where you can draw parallels with the piano (Alleviate) and the guitar (The Kill) intro and how the drumming carries into the first verse! That era of 30STM has always been a favourite and to see it revitalised here and built upon in a beautiful way by Imminence makes Alleviate simultaneously nostalgic and one of my favourite songs released by Imminence.

Very difficult to choose just one of all those beautiful songs! They are similar but different at the same time. "Ghost" is the one that leaves a higher message through the lines and verses. "Temptation" is musically sublime in every part. "Chasing Shadows" is the most powerful to me. "Heaven in Hiding" is slower but as impactful as the others. "Alleviate" is probably the sum of all these things, just a bit lighter but very, very strong at every level! If I do REALLY have to choose, maybe I would choose Chasing Shadows, but not so clearly.
