I’ve seen them 3 times and they are amazing! Saw them at two small venues. Was at the front, got kicked a lot but was amazing!😂 Lucas patted me on the head. He hugged me after and was super nice! Sometimes I message him on Instagram, he’s so lovely! Every member of the band are super kind and love to talk! Second time I saw them, they sung aching longing with void of vision and it was insane. 3rd time I saw them was in a church and it was acoustic and it was 10/10. He was a little emotional, nearly crying during angel in the marble😓

I saw them last month in a very small venue here in Germany at their first headline show and when you look at the giant shows they‘re playing as support for Electric Callboy in sold out arenas right now in comparison they just hit different. Lucas is live so talented aswell its unreal.

Last year I saw Caskets,Thornhill,Holding Absence and Dayseeker on the Sleeptalk tour. Best show I have ever been to. So yes go see Holding Absence. You will not be disappointed. 🤘

It's all of course subjective, but what makes me love Lucas' voice more than others in this sort of genre is the extra grit he's able to bring on the delivery - and an overall more unique melody choice that keeps it from sounding as vanilla. Landon Tewers (The Plot in You) is the other person most like this, in my opinion.
